A Life Full of Music
I've been happily teaching music to people for over 4 decades. It is my passion to bring this invaluable experience to any student who walks through my doors.
After studying piano and flute at Stony Brook University I began my teaching journey, spending years honing my approach and helping to turn each student into the best possible musician they can be.

I've worked with students young and old for all different reasons. Whether it's long-term lessons throughout childhood, preparing for a big audition, or simply playing for the joy of it, I've got you covered in-person or online.
Lessons at my Home Studio
If you're near Syosset, I'd love to welcome to into my home studio. In-person lessons can improve student focus and provide an opportunity to play on a well-maintained, in-tune piano.
Online Lessons
If your location or schedule doesn't permit lessons in-person, I'm equipped with state of the art gear to provide you with the best online lesson experience possible.

Yearly Recital
We generally hold our annual recital the second weekend of June and it's a great opportunity for students to perform and be inspired by what other students are doing. Our 2022 recital was extra-special after two years of Zoom recitals!
Prepay Discounts + Free Trial Lesson
In addition to weekly payments, I also offer a discount for students who pre-pay. You can pre-pay for 10 lessons and receive the 11th lesson for free!
Flexible Scheduling
To keep things simple and predictable for everyone, I follow the school calendar in the student's school district. All weekdays or weekend days when school is in sssion are scheduled lesson days. Other days are sometimes (but not always) open for lessons.
NYSSMA, All County, and College Audition Prep
I have helped students prepare for NYSSMA, All County, and College Auditions ever since I started teaching. My students have consistently received the highest NYSSMA marks available and gotten into music programs at their schools.
Custom Tailored
I teach both piano & flute lessons in 30-minute, 45-minute, or hour-long sessions. 45-minute lessons are recommeded for all but the youngest students. One hour is recommended for those students preparing for NYSSMA Level 3 & up, or those who simply have a desire to progress rapidly.
